  6. What is Mirror?
  7. Mirror is an application for the Macintosh for synchronising groups of files between computers over the Internet. It can be automated to run regularly and copy new and updated files from one site to another using the Internet standard FTP protocol.

  9. What is required to use it?
  10. Mirror requires a Macintosh with System 7.5 or later (or System 7.0 with the Threads Manager installed), Internet Config 1.1 or later, and MacTCP or Open Transport 1.1. Mirror takes advantage of Open Transport and Drag and Drop if present.

  12. What are all these files?
  13. ･ Mirror: The application itself
  14. ･ licence.html: An HTML file which explains the how and why of paying for Mirror. Open this file using Netscape Navigator, Microsoft Internet Explorer, or any other HTML-capable application.
  15. ･ documentation.html: This file contains the complete user manual for Mirror. This is also an HTML file.
  16. ･ images: A folder containing images referenced by the documentation.html file
  17. ･ Register: An application you can use to submit your payment for Mirror.
  18. ･ system.verbs.apps.Mirror: A "glue" file for using Mirror with UserLand Frontier.

  20. I don't have all those files, where can I get a complete Mirror distribution?
  21. The documenation and licence files are available from the Mirror web site at the following URL: <http://www.progmatics.com.au/mirror>. Also available from the Mirror web site is a copy of the latest version of Mirror.

  24. Mirror is free for non-commercial use. Commercial users must pay a licence fee of US$20. See the licence.html document for full details.
